Terms and Service

Welcome to MikroTap! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our remote access services, website, and dashboard (collectively, the "Service") provided by MikroTap ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Description of Service

Our Service provides users with a dedicated public port and a static IP address, delivered through a secure SSTP (Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol) VPN tunnel. This allows you to remotely access and manage your MikroTik router(s) from anywhere in the world, bypassing limitations such as dynamic IP addresses or ISP-blocked ports.

2. Account Registration and Security

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service.

  • Account Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for keeping your account information, including your password, confidential.

  • Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Billing: Our Service is offered on a subscription basis. All fees are quoted in BDT/USD and are payable in advance for the subscription period you select.

  • Payment: Payments are processed through our secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Bkash, Sslcommerz). All payments are deducted from your account's Deposit Wallet. It is your responsibility to maintain a sufficient balance for purchases and renewals.

  • Renewals:

    • Manual Renewal: You can manually renew your subscription at any time from your dashboard. If a service is suspended, a new service period begins on the date of successful payment.

    • Auto-Renewal: If you enable the auto-renewal feature for a service, our system will automatically attempt to deduct the subscription fee from your Deposit Wallet upon expiry. It is your responsibility to ensure your wallet has sufficient funds. If the auto-renewal fails due to insufficient balance, your service will be suspended.

  • Refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable, except at our sole discretion.

4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited activities. You are solely responsible for the security and management of your own MikroTik router and the network behind it. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to host illegal content or services.

  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our network or the networks of others (e.g., DDoS attacks, port scanning, spamming).

  • Share your account credentials or resell our service without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for any violation of these terms.

5. Service Availability and Limitations

  • Our Service depends on the functionality of your MikroTik router and your internet connection. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by a failure of your own hardware, software, or internet connectivity.

  • While we strive for 100% uptime, our Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We will, however, make all reasonable efforts to provide a reliable and stable service.

  • Scheduled maintenance may be required from time to time, and we will attempt to notify you in advance.

6. Suspension and Termination

  • Suspension: If your subscription expires and is not renewed, your service will be automatically suspended. Remote access will be disabled.

  • Termination: We will hold the configuration for a suspended service for a grace period of 7 days. If the service is not renewed within this period, we reserve the right to permanently delete all associated data, including your PPP credentials, port mappings, and static IP assignment.

  • Termination by Us: We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MikroTap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
